Great Leaps Behavior Center provides clinic-based services in a home-like environment. Our center is designed to combine the structure of a school or daycare setting with the warmth and familiarity of home. This unique environment allows for your child to practice real-life skills and create meaningful learning opportunities in a setting that feels natural, rather than clinical.  

Our therapy is guided by a developmental perspective, meaning skills are introduced in a way that's appropriate for each child. We focus on supporting growth across all areas of development, including communication, social interaction, play, and independence. This ensures that skills are built upon in a natural, step by step progression, towards lasting success. 

Every child is unique, which means every treatment plan should be too. At Great Leaps Behavior Center, we design individualized programs that reflect priorities. By tailoring goals and strategies, we create a roadmap that is both effective and meaningful for the child and their family. 

At Great Leaps Behavior Center, we understand that no two children learn in the same way. Instead of relying on a single teaching method, we adapt to each child's unique learning style. By varying the strategies, setting, and tools we use, we help children stay engaged and make meaningful progress that fits their individual needs. 

GLBC teaching skills in the most naturalistic way possible for the child to acquire the skill. Each skill is carefully analyzed to determine the most appropriate method of teaching to increase the generalizability of the skill. This means that some skills are taught through play, some through natural practice in the relevant environment (i.e., classroom, bathroom, table).

Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. At Great Leaps Behavior Center, we prioritize building trust and connection with each child from the very beginning and continue throughout their therapeutic journey. By creating this foundation of safety and rapport, we make learning more comfortable, enjoyable, and effective - helping children feel supported as they grow.
